# Firmware

## Power On Extender

After successfully connecting the **PoE & WAN** port on the extender to the **PoE** port on the PoE injector, connect the AC plug on the PoE injector to the 110\~240 Volt electrical outlet, and the extender will boot up automatically. It takes 3\~4 minutes to boot up completely.

## Connection

Use a phone or computer to join the open WiFi hotspot ***Extender-WiFi-xxxx*** or connect the computer to the LAN port on the motherboard of the WiFi extender.

The **-V4** WiFi hotspot is on 2.4GHz, and the **-V5** hotspot is on 5.8GHz.&#x20;
